- Introduce 3D Movie project
- This is one of my favorite projects because it really gets the kids to be creative.
- You can give them as much or as little information as you like. I typically give them enough information to get started but have them figure out how they are going to set up their 3D presentation
- Need two cameras, tin foil on the screen to prevent polarization, two projectors, two 3D movie glasses lenses to place on the projectors
- You need to keep in mind that the focus of their project is the process. Failure is an option. The 3D movie will most likely not turn out well but this can create excellent discussion as to why it didn’t turn out well.
Day 7:
- Give your students time to work on the 3D Movie project. I typically give 3 – 4 class periods for brainstorming, filming, as well as figuring out how they’re going to set up their presentation.
