Day 1:

  • Teach – Lesson 1 – One Dimensional Motion – Part 1
  • Complete Student Notes
  • One-Dimensional Motion HW
  • HW: 
    • Any questions you didn’t complete

Day 2:

  • Teach – Lesson 1 – One Dimensional Motion Part 2
  • Speed Challenge
  • HW: 
    • Complete Speed Challenge

Day 3:

  • Teach – Lesson 2 – Two-Dimensional Motion Part 1
  • Two-Dimensional Motion HW
  • HW: 
    • Complete Two-Dimensional Motion HW

Day 4:

  • Teach – Lesson 2 – Two-Dimensional Motion Part 2
  • Complete any outstanding HW questions

Day 5:

  • Lab Station Activity – 1 and 2 Dimensional Motion

Day 6:

  • Teach – Lesson 3 – Relative Motion
  • Work Period – Lesson 3 – Relative Motion
    • Students are to complete any outstanding HW questions plus any you see fit to assign
    • It is also a day to answer any questions
  • HW:
    • Complete any outstanding questions

    • These questions cover content from Lessons 1-4 and answers are included
    • I usually put these up on the overhead and have the students answer them one at a time. Once they’ve had enough time to answer, I reveal the answer and we take them up.

Day 10:

  • Remaining questions from ‘Motion (L1-4) Practice Problems
  • Uniform Acceleration Worksheet 2
  • HW:
    • Uniform Acceleration Worksheet 2

Day 11:

  • Acceleration – Digital Scavenger Hunt
    • Alternatively, you can give your students time to get caught up on Lessons 1-4
  • Uniform Acceleration Worksheet 3
  • HW:
    • Uniform Acceleration Worksheet 3

Day 12:

  • Teach – Lesson 5 – Projectile Motion – Part 1
    • Complete Student Notes

Day 13:

  • Lesson 5 Quiz – NEXT DAY
