If you’re looking to flip your classroom or are teaching online, you’ll be interested in using my Complete Lesson Walkthrough Videos. To simplify this document, I’ve added the lesson videos as homework which can be assigned if desired.

If you decide to use the video lessons I would suggest you spend the first 10-15 minutes of class the next day to review the key concepts.

  • Molecular Model Kits
    • If you have molecular model kits, this is a great time to get them out. I usually have my students build simple molecules like water and methane. Once they’ve completed them, I’ll give them more challenging ones like Glucose and Lactic Acid.

    • Typically I use Plickers for this worksheet. They’re very easy to use and free from their site. You can get really complicated or keep it simple like I do. I wrote a post about using them here. The answers are below the questions so they work well as a class activity where you cover the answer, give them time, then reveal.
