Teach Science With Fergy

Engagement Through Application

Mystery Circuit

This is a challenging circuit inquiry activity I created to test my students understanding of what we were covering in our circuits unit.

Students need to draw a simple circuit based on 7 clues. I.e., If light bulb 1 is unscrewed, bulb 2, 3 and 4 stay on, etc.

It includes an answer key and is a great addition to any electricity unit. It can be used to teach circuit diagrams as well as a review at the end of a unit.

If you’re looking for a lesson to go along with this activity, please consider my Electric Circuits Lesson which covers Current, Voltage, and Resistance.

Where should I send your Mystery Circuit?
